20th Anniversary Farm Dinners

To celebrate our farm’s 20th Anniversary, we’re hosting 3 additional farm dinners with some of our favorite chefs!

The Wolf’s Tailor/Kawa Ni – thursday, August 21 •

Frasca food and Wine – Saturday, August 30 •

Pasque Restaurant, Populus – Thursday, September 4 •


Join us on the farm for an evening of natural beauty, friendship and delicious food and wine as the sun sets over the mountains

Each dinner will only have 50 guests, so sign up today!

  • Where: Toohey & Sons Organic Farm in Hygiene, Colorado. Our farm is right between Longmont and Lyons – about 25 minutes north of Boulder, and 45 minutes from downtown Denver.

  • Info: Guests for each dinner will arrive at 5:30pm, and dinners include appetizers/cocktail, a short walking tour of the farm, a multi-course meal with produce sourced from the farm and meat and other products from area farms/ranches.

• Dinner 1 – Chefs from The wolf’s Tailor and kawa Ni

Thursday, August 21, 5:30pm

Our inaugural dinner will be prepared by an extremely talented collaborative group of chefs from The Wolf’s Tailor and Kawa Ni in Denver. Led by chefs Emily Thompson and Jarred Russell, both former chefs at the 3-Michelin-starred French Laundry in Napa Valley, they will be joined by other chefs and staff from The Wolf’s Tailor and elsewhere, and this will be a wonderful night of food on the farm! We’ve been looking forward to hosting this dinner since they proposed having a celebratory farm dinner in the Spring. All the chefs helping with this dinner have been really supportive customers for years, and we are so excited to see how their approach to cooking is expressed outside of the restaurant kitchen, cooking all day in a farm field. We know you’ll enjoy the results as much as we will!

• Dinner 2 – Frasca Food and Wine

Saturday, August 30, 5:30pm

Join us for an outdoor Friulian farm celebration dinner, cooked by Chefs Ian Palazzola and Sonny Viggiano of the James Beard Outstanding Restaurant of 2025 winner, Michelin-starred Frasca Food and Wine in Boulder. Frasca was our second customer ever back in 2005, when we’d just started farming and the restaurant was less than a year old. They are now our longest-standing restaurant customer, and it means so much to have them cook a dinner with us to celebrate this milestone! We’re excited to host this dinner with a more communal, family-style, slightly rustic approach to Frasca’s signature Friulian cuisine!

Dinner Cost: $175 plus tax (wine additional)

• Dinner 3 – Pasque Restaurant, Populus

Thursday, September 4, 5:30pm

The final dinner in our series features the exciting new Pasque Restaurant at the award-winning Populus Hotel near the state capitol building in Denver. Named as the “Hotel of the Year” in Esquire Magazine’s Best New Hotels in the World 2025 list, the hotel is focused on sustainability and elegance, and its restaurants follow suit with a goal of being hyper-local. When we started planning these dinners we knew right away that we wanted chef Ian Wortham to be involved. We’ve known and worked with Ian since he was a young cook at Frasca. He worked his way up over a number of years to become head chef at Frasca and then helped open Tavernetta and was its executive chef for several years before moving out of state. We’re glad he’s come back to helm the impressive restaurants Pasque and Stellar Jay at the Populus Hotel!
